Me, too! I will probably always be a night owl at heart. On my husband's latest shift (4 days a week, 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM), I am in bed by no later than 8:00 PM and up by 3:00 AM. Just got the news this will be changing starting next week...New hours will be 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM for 5 days a week...So I will be up by 2:30 AM starting this coming Sunday. On his nights off, we usually stay up until 1:00 AM, sometimes a bit later. Recently he almost got a shift change which would have been much…

On his nights off, we usually stay up until 1:00 AM, sometimes a bit later. Recently he almost got a shift change which would have been much better for night owls like me...Oh but, alas, the guy wanting to make the switch...Didn't have the necessary training to do my husband's job.

I consider myself to be a night owl...Oh but, alas, I've had to make a serious attempt to conform with today's early bird world. Haven't been too successful so far.

The older Hubby and I get, the more of a night owl I am and the more of a morning person he is; I think one reason why he's become more of a morning person is he fell in love with golf and around here it's so hot, you really have to play as early as possible. Why I've become more of a night person, not sure.

In bed by 10, up around 6 or so. Back pain usually forces me out of bed. Will usually have 4 hours of solid sleep to start...after that...who knows? seems to be sufficient.

when I lived alone I preferred to stay up half the night a get up late. I had less interruptions Now in TN we both get up most morning around 6 or 7 I go into my room around 9 to rest my legs but don't take my meds until 11 or so, so I;m still awake until midnight or later.

LOL! Bed? Sleep? what are they? LOL! As I got older and started having trouble sleeping I learned a very valuable lesson. Don't fight it. It'll only frustrate you even more. I figure as long as I'm wide awake and can't sleep I might just as well be up doing something useful. I do my best writing in the wee hours. LOL! Between writing, editing, and canning season, I find plenty to expend my unused energy on. Usually, after either a marathon writing or canning session, sleep comes rather…
