Experian Sold Consumer Data to ID Theft Service

Well, here's a nice scary bit of info just in time for Halloween:

"An identity theft service that sold Social Security and drivers license numbers — as well as bank account and credit card data on millions of Americans — purchased much of its data from Experian, one of the three major credit bureaus, according to a lengthy investigation by KrebsOnSecurity."

Forgot to add: check your accounts *every day* (I check mine online, I think it can still be done by phone); somebody somehow got my debit card # (not the card, I still had it) & bought gasoline with it 300 miles away a few weeks ago. Luckily I caught it on the 1st day & got the bank to shut that card down.
